I believe in taking action. Worrying is just a form of self-sabotage. That may be too bold a statement, but in years on my experience writing articles, I have gone through every reason that leads me to procrastination. I’ll show you how to overcome that without taking those hard years.
One of the most frequently appeared reasons why I didn’t write more often is my worry about the style of my writing. I used to take it personally when people said I can’t write. I thought it was true and it stuck as long as I can remember.
For instance, I was worrying about how hard it was to write one article. I thought how could I possibly keep writing and reached the 10 articles point? A lot of such thoughts lead to discouragement.
If you think about it for a moment, article marketing is a numbers game. I must write in order to win the game, but the fact was I almost always found reasons not to do so. That leaved me in a frustrated situation.
The only way to cure it was to start writing. That didn’t come to me immediately. I was like going through 18 months before I decided to leave that worries behind and start writing. If only one individual find my article helpful, it already does its job.
So here it goes. Now I am still writing each and every day and I can’t see that I will stop anytime soon.
Does that mean that you can write crappy articles and get away with them? The answer is no. You should keep up to your standard but you must also realize there is no such thing as a perfect article. By all means get the spelling correct and make the article flows well.
When it comes to writing, many people think writing like you talk is the way to go. I certainly buy into this idea. With this, you should forget what you learned in school about grammar. That doesn’t mean you can neglect it at all, but a few grammatical errors here and there are just human.
Most important of all is that your article should look professional.
