Kevin: What does eating right mean to you?

Danny: I am mostly on organic diet. We cook everything from scratch. We don’t eat out of boxes or cans. I only eat meat about once a month. I mean, I will have - - that’s like red meat. I don’t drink coffee. I do drink tea but not an over abundance of it. And - -

Nothing can change the look of your legs like the squat. Before we get into a routine that will change your lower body in no time flat, lets talk about proper squat form.

The first thing to remember about the squat is that the power starts on the heels. Stay on your heels at all times while squatting. A lot of the concern of squats being bad on the knees comes from people who can’t squat properly bouncing up and down on their toes.

There is some controversy as to when the best time to stretch is. Some people believe that it is good to stretch before a run and after the warm up. Others prefer to stretch after the run and skip their pre-run stretch. Some stretch both times. In a lot of ways, the right time to stretch will depend on your body.

What can we do after walking and raising awareness for Breast Cancer? Promote exercise everywhere you go and with everyone you meet, especially among Breast Cancer survivors. Did you know even Breast Cancer survivors benefit from exercise?

October was Breast Cancer awareness month and Physical Therapy awareness month. What better way to celebrate and raise awareness by continuing to give the gift of fitness to survivors by working with one group of professionals best trained to work with them, physical therapists, and by encouraging everyone you love to make fitness a regular part of their daily lives.
