Have you changed your mind about the timeshares that you bought? Do you wish to dispose of your timeshares? Then read on….

Many a times, you may find yourself wanting to sell off the timeshares for one or more reasons. Maybe you don’t like it as much anymore or you have better uses for the money you spend on maintenance etc. However, selling timeshares is not as easy as buying them! The factors of location, resort, unit size, season and type of ownership are important while selling timeshares. Needless to say, timeshares in well maintained resorts at popular locations, for large unit sizes and Red seasons are easier to sell. Also deeded ownerships are easier to sell than limited right to use agreements as the latter decreases in value as the date of expiry approaches.

There’s a lot of grumbling at the airports today over surcharges for overweight luggage. We all need to rethink this “more is better” and plan our packing more efficiently. The old large suitcases, which came in 30″ and 31″ sizes, are no longer practical. Because of the sheer volume you can carry in these big cases you will be sure to go overweight. Most of the airlines are allowing 50lbs per case. The good news is you are usually allowed to bring two cases as baggage, along with a carryon and a personal bag.

We arrive in Munich and our guide makes it clear this is Bavaria. Bavarians favor autonomy from Germany and even have their own language. I have been here many times but looking through sober eyes now, I find it more vibrant, clean and sophisticated. We spend 2 days with Nancy, an excellent guide who has already emailed me to remain in touch.

I have a mini-group of just 26 so this is like a vacation for me. It is a first time abroad for some and I love to learn from them as they notice things with child-like enthusiasm that I do not.

While cruise vacations are excellent values and have many wonderful things to recommend them, most single people know the dark little secret of the cruise industry. It’s hard to cruise alone. That’s not because cruise lines don’t want single passengers. It’s just that they’re not really set up to accommodate them!

In fact, most cruise lines actually impose a bit of a penalty on the solo cruise vacationer. If you want to cruise alone, you certainly are free to do so, but you will end up paying an up charge to get your stateroom.
